A third suspect, Musah Issah arrested for allegedly for buying the acid used for the attack on late Adam Mahama has been arraigned.
[contextly_sidebar id=”oUYzEWCP73HsigAnjbSnlRzUw0tNHcpt”]He was put before a Magistrate court on Wednesday and was charged with abetment of crime and murder.
According to the Police, Issah who is a driver and a member of the NPP, on 19th May 2015, solicited and procured acid which he gave to the other two suspects who poured the acid on Adam Mahama.
The Police further told the court that the suspect denied the offence and indicated he was not in Bolga as claimed on the day mentioned but their source indicates he was in town.
Musah Issah has been remanded in Police custody for further investigations after a request for bail was denied by Justice Worlanyo Kotoku.
Gregory Afoko, the younger brother of the National Chairman of the NPP Paul Afoko and Asabke Alangbiho were earlier put before court for the murder of the Upper East chairman of the NPP.
