The Black Satellites beat Argentina 3-2 in their second Group B match of the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand.

Ghana started the match with Granada B midfielder Clifford Aboagye as captain after he missed out on the opening match against Austria and he made his presence count in the 44th minute as he slid Benjamin Tetteh through to score Ghana’s first goal via a deflection.

The team pushed for more goals and got rewarded in the 59th minute when Aboagye, after being put through by Samuel Tetteh, sent in a low shot past Argentina goalie Batalla to complete a counter-attack.

The score widened when Yaw Yeboah scored a penalty in the 69th minute following Montseirin’s foul om Samuel Tetteh in the penalty area.

But the South Americans fought back to make the match uncomfortable for Ghana.

First, they scored to make it 3-1 through Geovani Simeone who tapped into an empty net after Ghana goalie Lawrence Ati-Zigi spilled a cross from the right hand side.

Then, they found another goal when Buendia smashed home a shot from just inside the penalty area.

Ghana, however, managed to hold on win and move to 4 points with Austria who beat Panama 2-1 in the other Group B match.
