Kim Kardashian, the US reality television star and social media maven, has announced she is pregnant with her second child.
Kardashian, 34, is married to rapper Kanye West. The couple have an almost two-year-old daughter North West.
The news that the couple are expecting a new baby was revealed on the US season finale of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which has documented Kardashian’s struggle to fall pregnant a second time.
Kardashian, who married West in 2014 in Florence, has spoken frankly about her desire for a second child.
In a recent episode of her reality televison show she told her doctor: “I’m, like, so over it. Like, I’m exhausted, so I’m sure everyone gets to that point. I’m like, ‘Okay, I’m done.’”
Kardashian’s fans were quick to congratulate her on Twitter, while other social media users wondered what name the couple would choose for their new baby.

North West was born on June 15, 2013.
