Borussia Dortmund have signed Columbia international Adrian Ramos. The 28-year-old striker will join the eight-time German champions from Hertha BSC Berlin on 1 July 2014.
Ramos has scored 32 goals and created another 18 in 89 Bundesliga games for Hertha BSC. He has made 29 appearances for them this season, having a hand in 23 of their goals. Ramos is currently third in the Bundesliga scoring charts with 16 goals, and also in third place in terms of goals and assists.
“Adrian Ramos is an excellent footballer and one of the top strikers in Germany. He fits perfectly the profile of player we want at Borussia Dortmund,” said BVB sporting director Michael Zorc who agreed with Ramos on a four-year deal. Both clubs have agreed not to disclose the transfer fee.
