The season may be over, but there is already plenty to look forward to in August, including an array of brand-new kits.

Has your club stuck with tradition for their 2015/16 shirts? Have they gone retro? Or have they gone for a complete overhaul?

Not all clubs have unveiled their kit for next season yet, but check out the strips released so far:

CRYSTAL PALACE

Crystal Palace maintain their red and blue stripes on both their home and away kits for 2015/16

Aside from slightly thicker stripes and a new asymmetrical style, it’s more of the same from Macron for Palace’s home kit. The new away shirt has apparently been inspired by “famous sash kits of the past”.

EVERTON

Worn in the final game of the season against Tottenham Hotspur, Umbro say the new kit is “inspired by iconic Everton home shirts of the past”. It also has an NSNO insignia on the back in reference to the club’s motto ‘Nil Satis Nisi Optimum’ (nothing but the best).

LEICESTER

The Foxes probably feel like kings of the world after surviving in the Premier League and their new kit reflects that with a gold trim on the collar, shorts and socks. It also features the 25th anniversary logo of shirt sponsor King Power.

LIVERPOOL

The most notable feature of New Balance’s first Liverpool shirt is the chequerboard pattern, which is apparently inspired by the mosaic of flags and scarves that fill the Kop. Fans will be hoping it can also inspire the team to greater things.

NEWCASTLE

‘More blue’ seems to have been the message for the 2015/16 Newcastle shirt and Puma have delivered with added blue piping on the sleeves and collar and blue flashes across the black stripes.

SOUTHAMPTON

Adidas are back with Saints for next season and they have stuck with the classic red and white stripes. The club say the stripes reflect the ‘DNA of Saints’ while the rounded collar creates a ‘halo effect’ which is ‘inspired by the club’s nickname’.

STOKE

Nothing too radical from New Balance for their first Stoke home kit as they maintain the red and white stripes, but they have made their mark with a black and green away shirt.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR

Under Armour have made a striking change to the Spurs kit for next season with a diagonal sash across the shirt. According to the sponsor, the six stripes that make up the sash are ‘inspired by the design of the emblem’.

WATFORD

The Hornets will be buzzing into the Premier League with a major addition to their kit: black horizontal stripes running all the way down the shirt. It’s the first Watford kit to feature hoops in over 100 years.

On the continent

There are also some big hitters across Europe who have unveiled their 2015/16 kits. Let us know what you make of them below…

BARCELONA

The 2014/15 champions have gone for quite the change for the next campaign, with the traditional stripes abandoned in favour of horizontal hoops, which makers Nike say are inspired by the stripes on the Blaugrana flags the fans wave on match days.

BAYERN MUNICH

The Bundesliga champions are leaving their striped look behind and returning to an all-red kit for next season. The adidas-made shirt also bears the motto ‘mia san mia’ – which means ‘we are who we are’ – on the neck.

PSG

The French outfit have not ventured too far from their traditional layout, although the vertical stripe has changed on the Nike kit, going from red and white to a wider red stripe with white trim on either side.
