The Upper West regional executive committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has also resolved the embattled National Chairman and General Secretary must step aside.
The Upper West Region is the sixth region to pass a vote of no confidence in the two national officers.

The Northern Region is meeting on Tuesday to decide the fate of the two leaders, while the Ashanti Region is currently engaging in broader consultation before taking a decision.
There is however no confirmation yet from the Upper East and Brong Ahafo Regions.
In an interview with Citi News, the Upper West regional Youth Organizer, Mustapha Govee said: “I can tell you on authority that 22 people actually voted in favour of the impeachment; only two abstained. It means that we are in support of the removal of the General Secretary and the National Chairman.”
He insisted that the executives voted massively for their removal because they are certain that it will be in the supreme interest of the party.
