Hundreds of families are expected to participate in Citi FM’s annual ‘Family Day Out’ today [Monday] at the Burma Camp Leisure Centre in Accra.

The event which climaxes the Citi FM ‘Family Month’ will be an open-air funfair at one of Accra’s most unique entertainment centres; the Burma Camp Leisure Centre.

[contextly_sidebar id=”x6SUoOFHGL8qhh6HGWXruvwf3SAnuOlG”]It will offer families an opportunity to have fun and spend time together.

Activities lined up for the day include karaoke, poetry, charades, soccer, chess, ludo, musical chairs, treasure hunt and many more.

There will be bouncy castles, face painting and other exciting games to entertain children while parents enjoy the other activities.

Families will also be treated to good music by ace musician Kontihene and the Executive Band, one of Ghana’s finest bands and Hiplife artiste Gassimilla.

The Head of Programmes at Citi FM, Jessica Opare Saforo gave the assurance that the event will be exciting.

“…We will have the family day out event this Monday 25th of May at the Burma Camp Leisure centre. Essentially what we are doing is we are creating an avenue for families to engage to bond, to have fun and to be entertained.

“We believe that after a very long month, people are looking for an avenue to keep the family happy. There will be parties, karaoke and a special party for people born in May …we have the likes of Kontihene and Gasmilla coming through as well,” she said.
