Adam Mahama’s death: Homicide personnel dispatched to Bolga

The Police Homicide Unit has taken over investigations and dispatched a team of detectives to Bolgantanga to conduct thorough investigations into the incident leading to the death of Mahama Adam, the Upper East Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party(NPP).

[contextly_sidebar id=”pyVEni8gPqyfxetUjKlADRca0Bho3esv”]The deceased who suffered acid attack from two unidentified persons, died while receiving treatment at the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital on Thursday.

The team, accompanied by a pathologist from the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital will be assisted by the Upper East Regional Police Command to investigate the cause of his death.

Meanwhile one suspect has been arrested in connection with the incident.

The Police reiterated that it will ensure that all persons connected to the incident will be brought to book.

The general public has been advised to remain calm and “not take the law into their own hands to cause mayhem.”

The Police also appealed to Ghanaians to “volunteer credible information” that will lead to the arrest of other accomplices.
