The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nasara group in the diaspora will soon launch a strategic plan on how the party could win the 2016 elections.

[contextly_sidebar id=”pXKStDVLWhtDgeRY2tPi1l7jwu33Za1c”]This came to light after the NPP Nasara members in the UK held a one-day workshop on Saturday in London under the leadership of its Coordinator, Arafat S. Abdulai.

The focus of the workshop was to develop a strategic document to map out a defined role for Nasara in the Diaspora towards NPP’s vision of winning the 2016 election.

The UK branch Nasara secretary, Alolo Mutaka who led the discussion on the document, confirmed that he had already received inputs from other Diaspora Nasara wings.

He specifically mentioned Nasara Germany, Nasara USA, Nasara Canada, Nasara China, Nasara Russia and Nasara Nigeria.

The workshop which was well patronised, had in attendance the NPP UK Branch Chairman, Mr. Michael Ansah, Mr. Richard Dombo Diedong and Mr David Owusu Yianoma, first and second vice chairmen respectively, the Branch Secretary Dr. John Kissi and other branch members.

Nasara equally had the pleasure of welcoming the presence of the immediate past Chairman of the UK branch, Mr. Hayford Attah Krufi who was on hand to offer support and advise to the Nasara membership and the branch party generally.

Mr Ansah commended the Nasara Wing and acknowledged the immense contribution this wing has made to the branch and the party as a whole. Mr. Ansah noted that Nasara was established for a particular reason and the decision to develop such a crucial document marks a watershed in the Nasara story, which he described as a huge success.

The chairman reiterated the call by the presidential candidate Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo for unity within the rank and file of the party and advised members to be tolerant of each other and rally behind the presidential candidate of the party Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo, his Running Mate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and the entire executive body.

Mr. Ansah urged members to co-operate with the party leadership comprising Chairman Afoko and his executives to execute the NPP election 2016 victory agenda.

On his part, the Nasara Coordinator UK, Mr Arafat S. Abdulai seized the opportunity to express his gratitude to the branch Nasara members who have already submitted their input towards the development of the strategic document.

The UK Nasara co-ordinator noted that the document will be completed and duly outdoored at a forum in the summer which will be attended by National Nasara Co-ordinator, Kamaldeen Abdulai.

There was an impressive Nasara chapter representation from Yorkshire, Scotland, Midlands, South East, South West, Wales, Northern Ireland and East of England.

On behalf of the Nasara chapter wings, Mr. Hassan Amin, the leader of the Yorkshire and Humber delegation assured the branch membership of the chapters’ unflinching commitment to the NPP victory 2016 vision.
