An aspirant for the National Youth Organizer position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Nyamah says he is no longer going to court to seek an injunction on the party’s national delegates’ conference.

Mr. Nyamah threatened to seek the injunction following a decision by the party’s elections committee not to allow aspiring candidates to address the delegates in Tamale before voting.

The Director of Communications of the NPP, Perry Okudzeto has condemned the intended action adding that Mr. Nyamah will face the party’s disciplinary committee.

But speaking to Citi News, Richard Nyamah stated that he has had a series of meeting with party leaders where some further explanations and clarifications were given on the matter hence, his decision not to go to court.

“I have decided to rescind my decision to go to court on this matter so I am heading to Tamale to actively partake in the elections” adding that he is absolutely sure of winning the National Youth Organizer position of the NPP.

Mr. Nyamah also expressed his willingness to appear before the party’s disciplinary committee “and also put my case before them.”

The NPP is scheduled to have its national delegates’ conference in Tamale to elect their national executives on Saturday.
