To celebrate this year’s World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD), Vodafone Ghana is offering free internet browsing to its loyal customers at selected Vodafone retail shops across the country.

[contextly_sidebar id=”d4Wnwx05yhd3BaYg0aX6RLZeLN25HTNa”]The WTISD is celebrated annually on May 17 to observe the formation of the International Telecommunication Union.

This year, the day falls on Sunday and some selected Vodafone retail shops countrywide will be opened to give customers free access.

Commenting on the free offer, Michael Adjei, Commercial Director at Vodafone Ghana said: “We want to use this day to raise awareness about the endless possibilities of using the internet and its benefits to societies and communities.”

“We also want our customers to enjoy the experience of browsing on Ghana’s best network for 3G internet speed. At Vodafone, our commitment will always be to provide unmatched customer experience”.

The general public can visit the following Vodafone Retail shops from 11am to 5pm on Sunday May 17 to enjoy this benefit – Cantonments, Accra North, High Street, Tema, Osu, A&C Shopping Mall, Tamale, Koforidua, Takoradi, KNUST café, Kumasi Main and Ho.

This year marks the 150th anniversary of the International Telecommunication Union.
