The Deputy Minister of Power, John Jinapor says the Ministry will continue to collaborate with key stakeholders across the various sectors of the economy to minimize the impact of the current energy challenges.

[contextly_sidebar id=”ybCfZUvceAryyscp7ceyz7UoUShmUOfe”]He stressed the importance of consultations with stakeholders as government works hard to end the perennial load-shedding in the country.

The Association of Ghana Industries have complained about the lack of a load-shedding plan which they say is impacting negatively on their businesses.

Speaking to Citi News John Jinapor stated that the concerns of stakeholders will be incorporated in government’s plan as it seeks to end the power crisis.

“We shall continue to engage Chamber of Mines, the business community, entrepreneurs, traders and everybody, in fact, we are not limiting it to one sector. Health is also an essential element, education is an essential element and so we shall engage all the stakeholders moving forward. Ultimately we seek to deal with the challenge permanently. Even before that we shall continue to engage captains of industry and all other stakeholders in order to minimize and ameliorate the difficulty and challenge they go through even as we take concrete steps to deal with the challenge in the long-term,” he said.
