Stratcomm Africa pays courtesy call on IPR executives

Strategic Communications Africa Ltd. (Stratcomm Africa) last Wednesday paid a courtesy call on the Executive Council of the Institute of Public Relations, Ghana at the Institute’s secretariat in Accra.

[contextly_sidebar id=”mzcRgUlcX3rpf0CaOOxEncrmOwFx235m”]The Chief Executive Officer of Stratcomm Africa, Ms. Esther A. N. Cobbah who led the team explained that the call was to congratulate the newly elected executives on their election and also thank the Institute for the Awards given Stratcomm Africa, its CEO and two clients at the 2014 IPR Excellence Awards.

Ms. Cobbah said “Stratcomm Africa was encouraged by the awards”.

President of IPR, Elaine Sam Kwami said the Council appreciated the visit and assured of the commitment of the executives to working effectively towards the realization of the objectives of the institute.

Mrs. Kwami acknowledged the exemplary role that Stratcomm Africa has played in raising the image of communications as a professional discipline in Ghana.

Stratcomm Africa’s General Manager for Communications, Ms. Gillian Heathcote, thanked the Council for receiving the team and commended IPR for providing a professional structure to guide the practice of the profession.

The Stratcomm Africa delegation also included, Mr. Solomon Kwasi Kyei, Head of Operations, Ms. Marcia Azu and Linda Mireku, both from Stratcomm Africa’s Brand Communication Unit of Stratcomm Africa and Abigail Naa Karley Clegg, a member of the Communication Unit.

IPR team that received them also included Mr. Henry Nii Dottey, Honorary Secretary, Ms. Gifty Kabuiki Apedoe, Programmes and Fundraising Officer and Mr. Joseph E. T. Dottey, Executive Secretary.
