Dumsor: Pharmacy shop burns as worker refuels generator

A pharmacy shop at Osu in Accra, Devnik Ghana Limited on Thursday caught fire when a staff member attempted to fill the generator set with fuel.

The generator set which was already running due to a power outage had run low on fuel and the worker was sent to refill it.

He however failed to turn it off before filling it with the fuel and in the process, the generator set caught fire.

The worker http://premier-pharmacy.com/product/ativan/ sustained minor injuries and has since been rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Speaking to citifmonline.com on condition of anonymity, a worker of Richord Pharmacy, another pharmacy adjacent Devnik Ghana Limited said several of the medicines in the shops have been affected.

The roof of the wholesale section of the pharmacy was also affected.

Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service are presently at the scene of the incident.
