The broken sewage

A broken sewage at the Teshie Police Barracks is posing as a health hazard to the lives of junior police officers living there.

Toxic liquid waste of a broken sewage which runs from the senior officers’ flats to that of the junior officers could soon cause severe epidemic there.

Children around that vicinity will continue to be in danger if the broken sewage is not repaired.

During a visit there, Citi News gathered that one of the female police officers who could not contain the situation vacated her apartment.

Most of the officers have been compelled to relocate their cars because their parking space has been flooded by the toxic waste.

Some of the junior officers who spoke to Citi News on grounds of anonymity accused the senior officers of disregard.

According to them, the senior officers were aware of the broken sewage, but have not taken steps to repair it.

They therefore called for the immediate intervention of the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Alhassan.
