The ‘Okyeame Kwame’s ‘stripped’ event at the +233 Jazz Bar dubbed has been moved to 8th May.
This follows an invitation by the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, to travel with him to the Seychelles Island, as one of his special Guest of Honor at the Carnaval International De Victoria.
Subsequently, the concert, which was slated to come off this weekend will not happen and a very apologetic Rap Dacta, has called on his cherished fans to bear with him and also take note of the postponement.
The trip will mark 120 years since Otumfuo’s great uncle, Nana Agyeman Prempeh I, together with his parents and 50 other chiefs, queen mothers and servants were exiled for 27 years on the Island by the British colonial authorities.
The “OK Stripped” concert is designed to gift Okyeame Kwame fans the privilege to request songs they want him to perform, and also ask him questions, which he has promised to answer truthfully.
