It’ll take time to apprehend Graphic Designer’s killers – Police

The Police say they are making headway in apprehending the suspected robbers who shot and killed the 29-year-old graphic designer at Kwashieman, in Accra two weeks ago.

[contextly_sidebar id=”E4DXo2hmN1MNAFBFbTT9Ym7fQNJyXKJr”]They are however appealing to the public to be patient and volunteer information as they search for the perpetrators of the crime.

Francis Thomas Anderson, a Graphic Designer at E-volution International was killed at his home in the early hours of the April 15, 2015 after the robbers invaded his home.

Preliminary investigations suggest that he was killed after he struggled with the armed robbers.

Speaking to Citi News, the Sowutuom District Police Commander, Superintendent Suzzy Adjei said the Police are working to locate the suspected criminals and apprehend them.

“We will have headway, we will get somewhere. Investigations take time,” she explained.

According to her, the Police are working closely with some informants to track and arrest the perpetrators.

“We have links with the informants who are moving here and there. We cannot say certain things in public so it doesn’t impede our investigations,” she stated.

Supt. Adjei disclosed that patrols have been increased in the Kwashieman area to prevent further attacks.
