Ghana will for the first time sign a bilateral agreement with Saudi Arabia, to strengthen the relationship between the two countries

Ghana’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Alhaji Said Sinare disclosed this to Citi News after presenting his credentials to the new Saudi King Salman Abdulaziz.

Alhaji Sinare believes this will be a major landmark in the diplomatic relations between the two oil producing states and the beginning of a mutually beneficial relation.

“I am working on it at the moment.I am putting all the pieces together to ensure that we will sign a bilateral agreement with the Saudis this year. Hopefully the next two to three months or so,”Sinare said.

“At the moment I’m just actually waiting for a draft from the Saudis for us to look at and I will forward the draft to our ministry so it is going to be a win win situation for our country,”he added.
