The suspect arrested in connection with the alleged kidnapping and sexual assault a YFm presenter, Ms. Ada was taken to meet the victim on Tuesday at the Police Hospital in Accra.

[contextly_sidebar id=”fX6EK5kpsuGFYBZQMOQTjSn9LShzsk5a”]The suspect, Nelson Williams, 18, was dispatched to the hospital by the police as part of  investigations.

The meeting according to a source, was to ascertain whether Miss Ada could recognize the suspect but our source confirmed that she was not able to make the victim out.

The YFM presenter has been in the news after news and pictures of her alleged sexual assault and abduction broke about two weeks ago.

The police have been under pressure to interrogate the victim after they published the testimony of the arrested suspect.

But according to them, they are unable to interrogate the victim due to her current mental and psychological state.

At the press conference held by the police a week ago, they stated that “the victim is presently in a traumatic condition” she was  “unable to tell the Police her side of the story.”

The Public Relations Officer of the Accra Regional Police Command who addressed the press conference said “the Police will have the opportunity to interrogate her further for a clearer picture of the incident” after she has been “examined both physically and mentally”.

ASP Effia Tenge further assured that the Police will apprehend all suspects involved in the case.

“As such all suspects implicated in this conspiracy which tends to beat the imaginations of the average human mind will be arraigned.”

The YFM reporter is reportedly receiving treatment at the Police Hospital but is being guarded by an officer.
