The indiscretion of a 4-year-old girl to defecate at a particular portion of the Agblobloshie  market sparked  violence  between  two tribes;  the Dagombas and Zamrama  on Tuesday, leaving two people injured.

The Accra Police Commander, DCOP Christian Tetteh Yohuno told Citi News that the girl was allegedly beaten up by  the Zamrama for deficating in the market and beat up her mother too when she confronted them.

Incensed by  the  reports, the Dagombas staged a reprisal with machetes and other weapons.

According to an eyewitness, locally made guns were shot by both sides in the clashes.

The Police had to fire canons of tear gas to disperse the crowd.
