The man arrested in connection to the creation and circulation of nude pictures of one Ms Ada, employee of Yfm has been remanded in police custody.
Nelson Williams, 18, was placed before court today to be remanded into police custody investigations continue.
[contextly_sidebar id=”8rZ2WxbzENXuR4oWflIEqsO2WH7jvwRX”]The Accra Regional Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Afia Tenge at a press conference yesterday said the Police is hunting for the three other suspects involved in the incident.
The YFM presenter has been in the news for sometime now after news and pictures of her alleged sexual assault and abduction broke on Monday.
However on Wednesday, reports from the Police and doctors indicated that the act could have been staged.
She said “the suspect has denied sexually assaulting the lady and that anything that happened on the said date indeed happened with the consent of the victim.” Afia Tenge pointed out that since “the victim is presently in a traumatic condition” she was “unable to tell the Police her side of the story.”
She however said “the Police will have the opportunity to interrogate her further for a clearer picture of the incident” after she has been “examined both physically and mentally”
ASP Tenge further assured that the Police will apprehend all suspects involved in the incident.
