Contemporary gospel musician Nii Okai has released released yet another video. The high definition live video featuring features the gospel band Virtuous.
Mala, which means ‘I will sing’, is a praise song which glorifies God for his mercies and awesomeness.
According to Nii Okai, “Mala is a song of praise in anticipation of the second coming of Christ.”
The song which is in Ga, translates thus “he took 6 days to create such an immaculate world; it has been over 2000 years and He is still preparing a place for the redeemed. When we therefore consider how beautiful that place is gonna be, it makes us want to sing, praise and dance, morning, noon and night.”
It’s very groovy with rich lyrics that will get anyone dancing and singing the praises of God.
Mala is one of the song that are set to feature in the Mokobe@10 “Best of the Decade” live DVD album.
