Police: How the 29 year old graphic designer was killed

The Sowutuom Police have revealed more details about how 29-year-old Francis Thomas Anderson, was shot by armed robbers on Tuesday at Kwashieman in Accra.

He was at the early hours of Tuesday shot by armed robbers in his home at Kwashieman in Accra.

He got married in December 2014 and his wife is currently pregnant.

According to Sowutuom District Police Commander, Superintendent Suzzy Adjei narrated to Citi News, the events leading to his death.

“The young man according to his wife, when the people tried to break into the room, it seems her husband foresaw it, so he came out from the bedroom to the hall and he was also trying to prevent them from entering. She says she didn’t see it because after her husband left the bedroom she locked herself inside the bedroom. So all that she heard was a gunshot.”

She added that “After the shooting they broke into the bedroom and ransacked the room and took whatever they wanted to take. It was there that she shouted for help and her husband was rushed to the hospital. According to his wife, she saw three of them. so it means some were outside and three entered.”

The Police revealed that the robbers invaded two detached premises including the deceased house.

“According to the first victim, he said he saw 6 of them in his house. All the 6 entered the room, 2 were holding firearms and others cutlasses,” she stated.

The Police added that they were still investigating the matter but expressed the hope that the perpetrators will be arrested.
