The family of the software engineer, whose software was used for the SRC elections at the University of Ghana, has threatened to sue the Bureau of National Investigation (BNI) if they fail to release him by tomorrow (Wednesday).

Speaking to Citi News, the father of Stephen Forson, George Amoah Baiden said “if by tomorrow he is not released we will go to court”.
It is alleged that Stephen Forson caused one Mikdad Mohammed to lose against the perceived favourite Fobi Ohene Davis.
The results, as declared by the Electoral Commission of the school last week showed that Davis polled 4,933 representing 76.6% against Mikdad’s 1,511 representing 23.4% of the total valid votes counter.
According to Stephen’s father, no member of the family has been allowed to see him since he was arrested by the BNI on Tuesday dawn.
“His wife went there with a lawyer and they were not allowed to see him. Nobody has been allowed to see him” he said.
According to George Baiden, the family was currently in an emotional trauma adding that “his mother is asthmatic and has a high blood pressure and they are all very sad at Agona-Abodom”.
He appealed to the authorities holding Stephen Forson to release him as soon as possible because “all I need is I want my son to be released.”
