Police in the Western Region have told Citi News Obrempong Yaw Ampofo that, this is the 5th time the YFM Presenter Ms Ada has been kidnapped.
[contextly_sidebar id=”izFDEyHlHHrzV4QPEmPuDee9syLqoI1d”]According to the District Crime Officer, the first 3 incidents were reported but the 4th and 5th were not reported to the Police even though their investigations revealed it happened.
The Presenter, was seen in pictures released on Monday night, being sexually assaulted by about 5 men but is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Takoradi.
The Police have revealed that they might invite a gentleman believed to be her ex boyfriend.
Citi News’ Western Regional Correspondent , Obempong Yaw Ampofo said the gentleman who is popularly known as Rahman earlier introduced himself to the Police as the victim’s ex boyfriend.
He reportedly informed the Police that he had “received calls from his friends on watsapp that his girlfriend had been kidnapped.”
According to Obrempong, though the Police subsequently asked Rahman to return to the Police Station to offer useful information that will assist them in their investigations, he had not yet turned up .
“Rahman promised to return to give information to the Police,…as of now they have not heard from him.”
Police say this is about the third time the victim has been abducted.
