The family of a 21 year old student of the Regional Maritime University College are calling on the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and the National Security to help find Elorm Senya.

Speaking to Citi News, Elorm’s brother, Kafui Senya stated that the family were informed of their missing relative the next day on March 16.

“The school called my dad and asked if Elorm had come home and they informed us that he was not in the school. The next day we went back to the school and we were told that somebody had seen him at the beach and had found some clothes that were suspected to be his at the beach,” he stated.

He said the case was reported to the police by the school authorities but added that the Police has not done enough has not been done to search for his missing brother.

“When you go to the school authorities they tell you they have reported it to the school authorities so they cannot do much about it. When we go to the police they also tell us they investigating the matter and it’s been almost four weeks and there has been no search party. Even his phone calls that we expect to be traced to help in the investigation and it has not been done. All they tell us is to be patient and that they are investigating the matter,” he said.

Kafui Senya appealed to the IGP and the National Security to help trace his brother.

“We are appealing to the security authorities to help in the investigations,” he said.

“It is very traumatizing that a university student can get missing for four weeks and nothing is being done and you wonder what country we are in,” he added.
