The streets of Bantama in the Ashanti Region throughout the Easter holidays, hosted some of Ghana’s biggest acts to days of spectacular back to back performances during a special Tigo Music Music.
The three-day jam, which started on Good Friday with some of highlife’s best including Kofi B, Osei Vasco, Nana Aboagye Dacosta and Nana Acheampong, set in motion what was to be expected.
On Saturday, the concert returned in style and had Kwaw Kese put up a good show. Other acts on the night including Eno, Rashied Metal, and Bisa K Dei, performed to the admiration of the thousands gathered.
Ernest Opoku, Obaapa Christy and some of mainstream music’s biggest gospel stars crowned it with a spectacular show on Sunday. The performances kept the fans cheering all night.
Lots of Tigo freebies were given to some lucky fans during the three-day showpiece.
Tigo and TV3 recently agreed to have the latter as headline sponsor of the very popular Saturday evening live music show Music Music.
