An aspiring General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, Kwabena Adjei Agyapong says he is disappointed by the campaign strategy of incumbent General Secretary of the party Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie-popularly known  as Sir John.

Mr. Owusu Afriyie in a leaked tape is alleged to have made disparaging remarks about his fellow competitors including Mr. Kwabena Agyapong.

Speaking to Citi News, Mr. Agyepong said although he is not happy about Sir John’s comments he accepts them in good faith.

“I think I was a bit disappointed about what he said about me personally but that’s alright. We all belong to the same party, we all have our virtues, we may have a different vision about how you want to see the conduct of politics and campaigns but in politics you have to develop a thick skin to be able to take some of these issues. I leave it in the hands of God,” he lamented.
