Kenyan government has launched a massive manhunt for Mohamed Mohamud, also known by aliases Dulyadin and Gamadhere for allegedly masterminding the al-Shabab’s attack at the Garissa University College last Thursday.
[contextly_sidebar id=”7c9bSKopel7MvTw8HSItfefjkpGppYos”]Mohamed Mohamud is said to be in charge of external operations against Kenya.
The Kenyan government has thus placed a 20 million Kenyan shillings ($215,000) bounty on him.
Kenya’s Interior Ministry on Twitter announced the bounty and further solicited for information from the public on the whereabout of Mohamed Mohamud.
“We appeal to anyone with any info on #Gamadhere to share with relevant authorities and security agencies,” the Interior Ministry posted on Twitter.

Attack on the University by al-Shabab led to the death of 147 students and staff of the school while many others were injured.
The President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta, described the action as an “attack on humanity” and has since has vowed to crush the group.
He further warned planners and financiers of the militant group to cease doing so and also called on religious leaders to collaborate to combat the terrorist attack on the nation.
