Political campaign posters of former Joy FM presenter Kojo Oppong Nkrumah have popped up, fueling earlier media reports that he has expressed interest in contesting a parliamentary seat in the Eastern Region.
The entrepreneur has so far kept mute about the reports but sources very close to him have confirmed to Citi News that he is likely to contest on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Another ace presenter Gifty Anti’s posters have also surfaced on social media even though she has denied reports she will contest.
Meanwhile former Chief Operating Officer of MTN George Andah has exclusively confirmed to Citi News that he will contest Foreign Affairs Minister Hannah Tetteh for the Awutu Senya East constituency.
He would however need to get the nod at the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary primaries scheduled for June 2015.
Ahead of the NPP primaries, lead counsel for Nana Akufo Addo and two others in the Presidential election petition, Philip Addison, has said he does not want Nana Addo’s support at this stage of his campaign.
This was after he also finally let the cat out of the bag about his intensions to contest after weeks of speculations.
