Five persons have been arrested over the attacks on the Garissa University College in Kenya.

About 150 persons were killed and several others injurred in the process.
The militant group said its attacks were in retaliation for acts by Kenya’s security forces, who are part of the African Union’s mission in Somalia against al-Shabab.
Meanwhile, the African Union (AU) has condemned the attack on the university describing it as “barbaric.”
Chairperson of the Commission of the AU, Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, in a press release offered the AU’s heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and wished speedy recovery to all those injured.
She also expressed the AU’s solidarity with the people and government of Kenya and full support to their efforts in combating the scourge of terrorism.
