Embattled hiplife artiste Kwaw Kese has launched an initiative aimed at supporting prisoners in Ghana.

[contextly_sidebar id=”FFH4nVUVWf2Kx2Dla11ixNbyZHlUbcZH”]Recounting his ordeal when he was recently arrested for allegedly using Indian Hemp in public, Kwaw Kese said his stay in the prison has “really transformed me and made me a better person in  society.”

Kwaw Kese also observed that, “the Prisons of Ghana are not a place for people to be there,” adding that due to this “I will not sit down for my dear brothers and sisters to go through this hardship.”

He has thus established a charity project known as the Kwaw Kese Foundation to champion this move to ensure that prisoners are not neglected.

In a press release copied to citifmonline.com, Kwaw Kese stated that  “I will use my talent to solicit for funding to embark on the projects to help change the perception of Ghana prisons and also educate the youth on drug related issues.”
