Citi Sports can confirm that Kumasi based club, King Faisal have been involved in an accident on their way to training on Friday morning.
The accident happened at the Anloga Junction High Way in Oforikrom as players, namely Alex Osei Domfeh, Tetteh Nortey, C.K and Milito sustained different injuries on the team bus.
The General Manager of King Faisal, Nana Kwakye, confirms that most of the players are injured and would remain at the hospital until they are cleared by the doctors.
“The incident happened while the team were on their way to training this morning at Oforikrom” he said to Citi Sports on Friday.
“Majority of our players are injured and were taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention and would remain there because most of them are injured.”
Faisal were relegated to the first division, despite battling the Ghana FA at the Accra High Court to contest the grounds for their relegation.
Even in the first division, King Faisal have been struggling and suffered points deduction, following a protest by Ebusua Dwarfs.
They are currently 8th in Zone 2 with 7 points after 5 round of matches played in the GN Bank Division One League.
