Ghanaian football legend Mohammed Polo believes the recent renovation work at the Azumah Nelson Sports Complex will greatly aid his plans to help develop budding talent for the game of football.

The facility which has seen little maintenance since its completion in the 1970’s will be given a face-lift which will include a standard sized football pitch,a multipurpose gym, swimming pool and hostels to house national teams.

“I am already here with the youth and we are developing with the hope that a lot of them will come through.

“There is also the five year development plan which I am working on.

“This will happen through out the region and with this facility we can achieve a lot,” he revealed.
