The Community Life Support Foundation (CLSF) together with Towdah Sounds have donated assorted food items worth thousands of cedis to the Good Shepherd Orphanage at Bawjiase in the Central Region.
The groups, led by Eunice A. O. Lamptey, the Chief Executive Officer of CLSF and Pst. Michael Ohene Okantah the Music Director of Towdah Sounds donated rice, clothing, drinks, toiletries, beverages, powdered milk and biscuits.
They also threw a party for the inmates.
The Coordinator of the Orphanage, Rev. Abraham Nimako Boateng who received the items thanked the groups for their kind gesture.
He called on other non-governmental organizations and individuals to support the children who are being housed there.
Rev. Nimako Boateng also appealed for funds to support inmates who have completed Senior High School and needed to enter various tertiary institutions.
