Alpha Beta Christian College has won three awards at the annual Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) Awards organised by British Council in Accra.
The school won the overall Award as the Best Advanced level School in Ghana (based on A Level examination scores) among 39 British Council attached Schools offering the Cambridge International Examination in the country, while Esi Otchere (Class of 2016) won two awards. These are: Best A Level results in French and Sociology.
Alpha Beta Christian College has won this award for the 3rd time, having won the same award in 2011 and 2014 since the annual awards were established 6 years ago.
The awards ceremony was attended by special guests from Cambridge International Examinations Board from the United Kingdom, staff and students of the 39 British Council attached schools offering the Cambridge International Examination programme.
“We are excited about this award because the students worked hard, the teachers worked hard the entire Alpha Beta Christian College Team has been phenomenal”, Mrs Florence Adjepong, Principal of the school stated, adding that “indeed this is the doing of the Lord”.
