The West African Examinations Council (WAEC), says it will release the rest of the Basic Education Certification Examination (BECE) results, by the end of this week.
The national examination body released the results of over four hundred thousand BECE candidates last week, with others outstanding. But according to the Public Relations Officer of WAEC, Agnes Tei Cudjoe, the decision to release the rest of the results is to help facilitate the process of posting of candidates for their Senior High Schools.
The Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS), requires the full complement of the results to commence their postings into the various Senior High Schools.
Results released
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC), last Wednesday released the provisional results for the 2016 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
A statement issued by WAEC said 188 candidates had their results cancelled. It added that 22 of them had their results cancelled entirely for bringing mobile phones into the examination room.
Leakages
The West African Examination Council (WAEC), said it did not record any incident of examination malpractice in this year’s BECE.
