Unilever Ghana Limited at the weekend re-launched its new Geisha soap, which comes with fresh and mild fragrance that nourishes the skin and make bathing and washing experience refreshing.
The new Geisha comes in different variants: aloe vera and honey, shea butter and honey, coconut milk and honey, rose and honey and the lemon honey.
The soap was reformulated with honey and natural extracts that makes it melt less and last longer and comes with appealing pack design.
Mrs Dela Sowah, Deputy Minister of Gender, Children and Social Welfare, launching the product, commended Unilever for the innovative approaches to meeting the basic needs of Ghanaians and encouraged a sustained partnership to facilitate the nation’s development agenda.
She said the Ministry is to promote an integrated society that offers equal opportunity for men and women and safeguards the rights of children, as well as protect and empower the vulnerable, the excluded, the aged and persons with disability.
“ I have no doubt that the new Geisha will meet the needs of Ghanaian consumers and also stimulate more of such innovations from Unilever in the coming years since there is nothing better than a long lasting mutually beneficial relationship,” she added.
Mrs Esther Fobri, Personal Care Manager, Unilever Ghana said the company places more priority on customer satisfaction, hence the need to conduct intensive research to meet their needs.
She explained that the longer lasting of the soap means more soap, more days of usage, more baths, more value and more savings for other important needs.
“Our long lasting promise builds on our affordability by giving more to the Ghanaian Mothers for their limited resources, urging the public to buy the product to experience the refreshing attributes of the soap”, she added.
