Wa All Stars kept their place at the top of the Ghana Premier League despite losing 1-0 Ebusua Dwarfs on Saturday.
The leaders were hoping to get at least a point from their tie in Cape Coast but Justice Mensah’s 66th minute goal won the match for Dwarfs who moved up to 8th place on 33 points.
Wa All Stars are on 41 points.
Kotoko are now one point off All Stars after they beat Liberty 2-0 in Dansoman. Dauda Mohammed and Eric Donkor got the goals for the Porcupine Warriors on the day.
Hearts of Oak’s struggles at home continued after they drew 1-1 with Techiman City.
Dauda Cosmos put the Phobians ahead but Isaac Baah levelled for Techiman City. The Phobians are now 3rd on the table on 40 points.
League leaders AshantiGold got a point in Dawu against Dreams FC. The Premier League new boys went down first to a goal from Shafiu Mumuni but they got a response through an Abeiku Ainooson penalty.
Aduana Stars beat Berekum Chelsea 1-0, New Edubiase drew 1-1 with WAFA and Bechem United put two past Inter Allies.
Lanky forward Abednego Tetteh got the two goals for the home side to help them move up to 13th on the log.
Inter Allies are still in the bottom three on 26 points. They are two points behind Hasaacas ( who are 14th) and four ahead of bottom-placed New Edubiase on 22 points.
