Prudential Life Insurance Ghana has launched an innovative new product aimed at supporting the working class with income when they are unable to work due to critical illness or disability.
Being the first income protection product in Ghana, the Prudent Life Plan provides an unlimited amount of cover.
This means that Prudential’s customers will be able to choose the right amount of income for their lifestyles.
Prudential can provide cover for as little as GHS 29 a month for between five and 52 years.
The Prudent Life Plan also guarantees the reimbursement of 100 per cent of these premiums to customers if they outlive the term of the policy without making a claim.
The plan covers 10 critical illnesses and also entitles customers to a free annual health check. Emmanuel Mokobi Aryee, Chief Executive of Prudential Ghana, said: “Prudent Life Plan is small on cost and big on protection.
It means customers can rest assured that they will not have to deal with huge bills in the event of critical illness or disability.
Furthermore, we promise to reimburse all of customers’ premiums if they outlive the term of the policy without making a claim.
The Prudent Life Plan is a win-win product, which offers a truly prudent way for Ghanaians to plan their lives.”
Matt Lilley, Chief Executive of Prudential Africa, said: “Prudential Ghana has over 1.3 million customers and is one of the fastest-growing life insurers in the country. We hope the Prudent Life Plan will help us to bring the benefits of life insurance to even more Ghanaians.”
Prudential Life Insurance Ghana is one of the top ten life insurance companies in Ghana. It employs around 70 staff, has over 800 agents and has more than 1.3 million customers. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Prudential plc.
