Parliament has extended its sitting for this session by one more week.
A copy of the business statement of the house sighted by Citi News indicates that, the house which was originally scheduled to rise by close of today [Friday], July 29, will rather adjourn next week Friday, August 5.
The extension has become necessary due to the critical back log of work legislators are yet to complete including the Right of Information Bill and the two IMF condition precedent Bills which are the Public Financial Management Bill, and the Bank of Ghana Amendment Bill, currently before the house.
