On the occasion of the 72nd birthday of former President John Evans Atta Mills, his son, Sam Kofi Mills, has presented assorted items to The Three Kings Special School in Battor in the North Tongu District of the Volta Region.
Items presented include cartons of drinks, bags of rice and sugar.
Presenting the items, Sam Atta Mills said the donation formed part of the commemoration of his father’s 72nd birthday.
“We decided to come to The Three Kings Special School in Battor because today [Thursday], marks the 72nd birthday celebration of the late President Atta Mills who is also my dad. This is something we do annually on his birthday and this is something he was doing when he was alive. They actually wrote to us that they needed support and we looked at it and decided to come here. So we decided to come and share with the kids in a special needs school”, he stated.
