The Chief Justice, Georgina Theodora Wood has sworn into office thirteen (13) new High Court judges to replace those who were sacked recently for allegedly taking bribes.
The new judges include: Jennifer Anne Myers Ahmed, Kofi Nyanteh Akuffo, Emmanuel Senyo Amedahe, Samuel Asare-Nyarko, and Emmanuel Lodoh.
The rest area Sedina Agbemava, Rita Agyeman-Badu, Ellen Vivian Amoah, Cecilia Naa Shormeh Davis, Charles Edward Ekow Baiden, Kwasi Anokye Gyimah, Richard Osei-Hwere and Francis Apangabund Achibonga.

[contextly_sidebar id=”mUotHJ4FIzdloMVXrkBY9DJAMr2Z54L9″]The elevation of the new judges became necessary after some 22 and 12 lower and high court judges were captured in a video by investigative Journalist; Anas Aremeyaw allegedly taking bribes to influence judgement.
So far all 22 of the lower court judges and four from the high court have been sacked.
They were sacked after the committee set up by the Chief Justice to investigate the matter found them guilty.
