Ghana’s Reggie N Bollie, X Factor UK 2015 finalists, have released the music video for their much-talked about single, ‘New Girl’.
The duo travelled back home to shoot the video in Ghana in order to market Ghana globally.
The two emerged first-runners up in last year’s reality show. Reggie and Bollie caught the attention of the world on the X Factor reality show in the UK, which saw them garner a large following in the UK and around the world.

A couple of months after their meteoric rise, the duo in a recent chat with Citi FM’s Traffic Avenue admitted life had changed massively for them since the X Factor UK experience.
“Life has changed drastically. We have been really busy since the show. Literally almost every weekend we are traveling here and there. Aside our private shows, we also had to go on the X-factor tour which was also around the whole UK.”
The two however are not complaining because they say they now get paid for doing what they love.
“We are really happy because we get to do what we love and earn some income from that so it’s really great.”
Speaking on their new music video, the duo said they had the option to shoot the video on locations in Brazil and Barbados, but they chose Ghana because they wanted to project their culture to the world hence their choice of Ghana for the video shoot.
“We were happy to choose Ghana because we saw it as a platform to sell our culture through this video. So it’s all about selling the cultural values of Ghana and where we come from.”
Reggie N Bollie were excited about the opportunity to come back home given that they hadn’t been in Ghana for about seven years.
The duo, were household names in Ghana but their music career back home took a nosedive. They had been out of the local music scene for years until they suddenly appeared on the X Factor platform and shocked their fans.
The New Girl was directed by Sesan and Prince Dovlo.
