The Municipal Chief Executive for the Kpando Municipal Assembly, Paulina Delali Adenyira has charged the headmasters of the Kpando Technical Institute and Kpando Secondary High School to maintain law and order between the two schools.
This follows a Municipal Security Council meeting yesterday [Tuesday].
Students at the Kpando Senior High School were attacked by a group of students from their rival school Kpando Technical Institute over the weekend resulting in the injury of some students.

Speaking to Citi News, Paulina Adenyira said the police are patrolling the two schools to ensure there is calm.
“Municipal Security Council, MUSEC had a meeting and we’ve taken some decision to regularize the situation. We’ve advised the headmasters on what to do just to keep the people on campus while the Police patrol. They are supposed to patrol the environment. That has been the case since Sunday. There is a main road separating the two schools so once the Police are around there, nobody can cross the other place and we have advised the head teachers to keep the students on campus so they have also taken some measures to do that.”
Kpando SHS attacked again by Kpantec students
Students at the Kpando Senior High School in the Volta Region came under another attack from a group of students from the Kpando Technical Institute last night.
A similar incident occurred over the weekend when they vandalized the school’s property including a van. Some of the female students of Kpando Secondary School were rushed to the Margarete Marquart Hospital following the attacks.
