About hundred potential home owners have been taken on a tour of the Appolonia City Project site at Appolonia near Oyibi in the Greater Accra Region.
The tour was to afford the public the opportunity to get first-hand information about the Appolonia City project and get to see at first sight the well demarcated site.
Ahead of the tour, the Chief Executive Officer of Appolonia City, Anthony Okyere, launched its new turnkey residential development known as the ‘ The Oxford ‘.
He said the project has three distinct house models which come in six different types namely, the Eaton, Barton and Walton.
According to him, The Oxford is a fantastic addition to the residential offering at Appolonia.
He said buyers now have a range of options to residential buyers including plots to build their own houses.
“We now offer a range of options to residential buyers, whether they are looking for a plot to build their own home at our Nova Ridge development or an off the shelf option from The Oxford” he noted.
Mr. Okyere noted that the project site will be home for 88,000 residents and 300,000 daily visitors, and will create tens of thousands of jobs during its 20-year phased development.
The development recently commissioned its first power substation which will serve the first 4,000 residents at the site.
Appolonia City Project is a 941 hectare mixed use urban development carefully planned for residential, commercial and light industrial purposes.
Some of the attendees at the event expressed their joy at the project saying it is by far one of the best housing project sites in the country, and that they could not wait to access the facility.
