Flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo Addo, has said residents of Klikor in the Ketu South District of the Volta Region will not experience perennial water shortages under his tenure as President.
Residents in that areas have over the years experienced perennial water shortages.

Speaking on his campaign tour in the Volta region, Nana Addo said, “I know there are special problems that you have; access to water. The institutions that deliver water, the Ghana Water Company and the Community and Water Sanitation team will be strengthened so that water delivery will be an easier and satisfactory thing.”
“I have been told one of your personal wishes is that the road to your palace should be tarred in the event that we win. Let me make a small promise to you, God-willing that will happen,”he added.
Fear not, I’m for all
Nana Addo is on a four-day tour of the Volta Region. On his first day , Nana Addo urged the Chiefs and people of the Volta Region not to think that he will sideline the region when he becomes President.
He assured the people of the Volta Region that like former President John Agyekum Kufuor, his presidency, in 2017, will distribute the resources and development of the country without discrimination.
“You have nothing to fear in me, nothing whatsoever to fear in me. J.A. Kufuor in the eight years that he was in office indicated to the people of the region and to the Ghanaians that it was possible to rule Ghana without discrimination, and without ill-will or favour towards any particular person, but in the overall interest of our country. Volta Region got many of the things it was entitled to in his era. I am coming to build on that legacy and add more to it,” he said.
