Event firm to mentor Legon students on Friday

Angelphase, an event firm is organizing a mentorship seminar at the University of Ghana aimed at inspiring the youth to attain their goals.

The programme seeks to inspire, educate, entertain and provide a mentorship platform for the youth in Senior High and Tertiary Institutions.

The maiden event will be held on Friday, 14th April 2016 from 5pm-8pm at the dining auditorium of Volta hall during its 57th hall week celebration.

In an interview with Citi News, Lead Executive of the Angelphase, Naa Adokarley Mettle Addo, mentioned that the rationale for the seminar is to enable young Ghanaians access knowledge from young entrepreneurs.

According to her, the programme will showcase the practical aspect of entrepreneurship and leadership.

“We intend to do this every month and we chose the theme ‘A Few Years after School, What’s Next?’ was made the theme primarily to psyche up the minds of our young students to be ready for the life after school and to consider the option of entrepreneurship because they cannot rely solely on government and Corporate bodies for job opportunities,” she said.

Resource persons for the event include; Mrs. Ewurasi Akyere Kumah-Certified events planner, C.E.O. of Ignite Events GH and Protocol Agency, Mrs. Araba Mansa Pratt Ennin –PR and Communications Consultant, Staff at SSNIT and CEO of Queenly Couture, Dr.Shirley Nwangere-Optometrist, Mother, Lead makeup artist at Flaming makeovers, Co-Founder of Zabri naturals hair range of products, serial entrepreneur, Ami Yomekpe-C.E.O of Afromod trends an International award winning Clothing and accessory line, an architect and Philanthropist and Berla Mundi – Broadcast Journalist with GH One.
