The parliamentary primary of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the Nkwanta South Constituency of the Volta Region, is scheduled to come off today [Saturday], after it was postponed during the national exercise last year.
The Electoral Commission issued a notice of poll for the primary which will be contested between an educationist, Cephas Edusei, and a farmer, Wisdom Njonam Waja.
The Nkwanta South primary delayed because of intra-party disagreement at the constituency level, but the party has been able to resolve all the differences.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC), are also yet to conduct their primary in the same constituency, but they claim their delay is strategic.
