The 2016 edition of Citi FM’s Music of Ghanaian Origin (MOGO) Concert, came off in style at the Alisa Hotel Ridge Arena in Accra, on Saturday night, March 5.
Lovers of authentic Ghanaian highlife music dressed in stylish and colorful Ghanaian apparel were first treated to music from the Executive band.
The night of music and awards, also offered some good meals to the many invited guests.
The first artiste of the night who took the stage was Bob Pinodo, followed by Ebo Taylor, Bessa Simons, and the main act for the night, Amakye Dede, who was perfoming for the first time after a gory accident that killed his manager.
The ‘Iron Boy’ as he is affectionately called, shook the Alisa Ridge Arena and got attendees on their feet for close to an hour.
